Ignite Small Business Start-ups SSI

Funded by SSI, the Ignite Small Business Start-ups initiative facilitates business creation for people from refugee backgrounds who are keen to establish a small business or expand an existing one. Fledgling entrepreneurs are supported by Ignite enterprise facilitators, business mentors and a Resource Team made up of volunteers from local businesses, councils, chambers of commerce and other individuals who can share their business knowledge and skills.

You can then use this opportunity to transition to a full qualification with a fee-free scholarship** in 2016.

To be eligible for a place in a government subsidised course you must be:
•an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen
•aged 15 years or older
•no longer at school
•living or working in NSW
