The program is designed to provide you with the basics to improve your communication skills. During the program you learn more about yourself and your strengths and how to use them. We will practice several real-life scenarios in a safe environment where you can challenge yourself.
The Network Program integrates five modules to develop confidence to communicate in the community and in professions. The first module is in the form of a webinar. The remaining four modules are interactive workshops where the participants can practice their knowhow and progress.
About the trainer
The Workshop will be facilitated by Marcel Briggen, an academic instructor from the University of Sydney Business School. Marcel is passionate about education, teaching and coaching people from diverse cultural backgrounds to provide a positive experience for their personal, professional, and career development . Marcel was originally from Switzerland and has over 20 years’ experience in the finance industry in Europe and Australia.
Module 1- Networking Fundamentals Saturday 27 June 2020 1pm – 4pm
This webinar provides the fundamentals about networking. We will discuss the importance of networking for your social and professional life and what makes networking different from casual socializing. We discuss strategies on how to create your own network and how to maintain the connections which are important for you. You will experience how many connections you can actively manage and how to stay connected with those who are passive members of your network. We provide strategies on how you can make your network successful to achieve your goals in job searching and in your personal and professional life.
